Nexus have been professional from start to finish, their prices are very well quoted, but ultimately it's the project management and the finish that leaves in my opinion, Nexus unparalleled in this environment.
Established in 1999, Pharmacy 2U are the pioneers of online pharmacy services and since creating the idea and running with it, they have slowly become the largest NHS contracted pharmacy.
Their service is simple to use, whether it’s through their website, over the phone or via their app. They receive their customers prescription and then dispense their required items to an address of their customers choice.
Pharmacy2U have recently undergone a huge expansion and have invested over three and half million pounds into a new automated dispensing facility to replace their previous manual facility. This facility required a refurbishment to transform the space into their new contact centre.
Watch our case study video for this project featuring Pharmacy2U’s Managing Director Daniel Lee discussing the project.
The Search For A Solution
With the recent major investment, Pharmacy2U’s dispensing facility has moved from within their office facilities, to a purpose built, state of the art automated premises. This freed up a lot of space that Pharmacy2U wanted to utilise for office space and specifically a new contact centre.
Therefore, Pharmacy2U began their search for a fit out contractor that could provide them with the solution that they required. This is their sixth office building since their inception in 1999, so they are no strangers to office moves and fit outs.
We were recommended to Pharmacy2U once they started looking and Daniel Lee the Managing Director invited us in to discuss their requirements for the new space.
Pharmacy2U need a contractor to come in and provide them with the complete solution. They needed a layout designing that made the most of their space and that design then implementing in a seamless manner.
As you can imagine Daniel is a busy man and wanted to be able to trust a fit out partner to take their requirements on board, come back with a design that works and then implement the project. He was impressed with how we work and it took a weight off his shoulders.
Once we had conducted a site survey, sat down with Daniel, discovered their needs for the space and also how their business works, we returned to the office to prepare the designs for their new contact centre.
These designs were then delivered to them within one week and we put together a budget cost for them within ten days as we do with all our clients.
Our proposals and quotation are laid out in such a way that it made it easy for Daniel to see what he would be receiving and also an accurate cost. We provided Pharmacy2U with an itemised quote set out in a ‘shopping list’ style, so they could see where each cost lies. This allowed them to check the costs with other contractors and see that they were getting a good deal.
Once we delivered the quote and designs to Daniel, we shook hands and they commissioned Nexus to carry out their office fit out for them.
The project for Pharmacy2U included the refurbishment and fit out of their space that was previously taken up by their dispensing facilities. Along with this, they also required a fit out of their second floor office space.
Overall the new facilities consist of two open plan contact centres, a meeting room, three directors offices, two smaller office spaces and a breakout area with table tennis facilities for their employees.
The individual rooms were created through the installation of glass partitioning which included integral blinds for added privacy, whenever the user may require it. The integral nature of the blinds means that they always look tidy and are prevented from being broken.
The new facilities have been a hit with Pharmacy2U’s employees and clients alike with Daniel receiving positive feedback from both respectively.
Nexus implemented all aspects of the project for Pharmacy2U and we completed the project on time and on budget. Daniel was very happy with the finished solution and commented that we’d been
The new facilities have allowed Pharmacy2U to continue their expansion and continue to serve their growing client base. We would like to thank Daniel and everyone at Pharmacy2U for the opportunity to work with them and we wish them all the best for the future.
We would love to partner with you to achieve your goals….
